The work that we have shown here is the result of the determination and order of the people of Mexico who live in Toluca», assured Mayor Raymundo Martínez Carbajal, during his message on the occasion of the First Government Report.

In front of more than 10 thousand people, Mayor Martinez Carbajal stated that his government walks together with its citizens, «it is an example and a success of my administration, with municipal policies that benefit the families of Toluca».

«This report is from all of you, a reflection of teamwork, unity and the capacity of all the people of Toluca, today #Toluca is being reborn and showing its great potential. Long live the capital and the heart of our #EstadoDeMéxico!»

Before the Secretary General of Government, Luis Felipe Puente Espinosa, who attended on behalf of the Governor of the State of Mexico, Alfredo Del Mazo Maza, he emphasised that Toluca is a City Hall that does much more, spending much less.

The Mayor of Toluca acknowledged the leadership of Governor Alfredo Del Mazo Maza, as well as his support with the works he has delivered to the capital, favouring development and coexistence among Toluca families.

«We will reinforce the extent of parks, gardens, wooded areas, forests and the sufficiency of water as an indispensable resource for the continuity of life».

One of the most successful programmes, he said, is the Municipal Police’s «Pie a Tierra» programme, which shows a new face of authority that people recognise and trust, revitalising the link between society and government.

«Consolidating the financial reconstruction of the municipality, developing public works with a long-term vision, and turning Toluca into a safe and orderly place is of paramount importance for this municipal administration.

We will continue with the public lighting recovery programme; we will maintain efficient rubbish collection, as well as the maintenance of public spaces with the objective of beautifying our municipality,» he concluded.
